This is a great opportunity for a Audit Manager role in the Jacksonville Florida area.

If you have had it with your "Big 4" or top 100 firm not providing the track you feel you need, this could be a great opportunity. Top ranked local boutique CPA firm with about 70 employees, is growing and is in need of a quality Audit Manager.

Opportunity to work with amazing companies in construction, healthcare, finance, and industrial all across the northeast - Jacksonville Florida area and beyond ranging from 5M to 100M in revenues, and higher with some entities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • $105- $125k salary, full time
  • Medical, Dental Insurance various options
  • Bonus paid on top of salary

  • employer paid programs for additional credentials / licensing
  • Plan, review and execute audit assignments across multiple industries
  • Review and Double check financials in accordance with GAAP guidelines
  • Be a trusted advisor for leaders as well as business partners, and business owners
  • Lead other audit staff, train on audit best practices and guidance to newer audit staff
  • Find areas of improvement for internal controls and firm recommendations
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting (or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in audit / assurance)
  • CPA track, or close to receiving CPA, or CPA eligible (highly desired although not required)
  • 5 years or assurance and audit experience in an accounting firm style environment, family office, accounting and advisory, or CPA firm type of environment
  • Great experience with technology, and various software (accounting) programs, Thompson Reuters, etc.
